Pharmacology:
Allium sativa is an established drug to lower blood cholesterol with thrombolytic property. Terminalia arjuna is a cardiotonic and it reduces the o2 consumption of heart and moderately increases the cardiac output. Sida cordifolia is a tonic (Rasayan) in ayurveda and strengthens the cardiac muscle. Desmosium gangeticum and Borrhevia are diuretics. Commiphora mukullowers the HDL and VLDL Cholesterol. |
Indication:
In CVD's as an adjunt to the conventional theraphy. |
Dosage:
One capsule twice daily after food. There is no drug interaction with the other cardiac drugs of allopathic origin. |
